The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) has announced that George Rogers has joined the association as vice president of legislative affairs. In this role, he will be responsible for advocating on behalf of MBA’s legislative and policy priorities on Capitol Hill, with a primary focus on Republican members of the United States Senate. He arrives at MBA from Republic Consulting, LLC, a government relations and lobbying firm he co-founded in 2019. Prior to co-founding Republic Consulting, LLC, Rogers held various ascending roles at Wexler & Walker, where he most recently served as CEO. Before that, he helped manage Senate confirmation strategies as part of the Presidential Transition Team in 2017 and served as policy advisor and counsel for former Rep. John Boehner, R. -Ohio, during his time as Speaker of the House and House Minority Leader. Additionally, Rogers was a member and the official proceedings script team leader of the Republican National Convention and held various leadership counsel roles for the House Oversight and Accountability Committee and for former U.S. Senator Richard Lugar, R.-Ill.

Open Mortgage has announced the appointment of Mike Hicks as its new national director of reverse sales. Hicks has served in the reverse mortgage industry since 2009. Prior to joining Open Mortgage, Hicks held the position of reverse mortgage sales manager at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. Hicks has also held management roles at 1st Nations Reverse Mortgage, Willow Bend Mortgage Company, and 1st Reverse Mortgage USA. He is a graduate of University of Houston-Clear Lake with a bachelor of science in general business.

SWBC is excited to announce the addition of Tim Gillis to serve as the company’s new vice president of sales. Gillis joins the company with 29 years of experience in the mortgage services and origination space. Before joining SWBC, Gillis held executive roles at Sutherland, ServiceLink, BSI Financial Services, Aurora Loan Services, and GB Home Equity.

Greystone has announced that Debby Jenkins has joined the firm as an executive managing director. In this new role, she will focus on growing Greystone’s mission-driven strategies, including its Social Impact and Affordable Housing platforms. Jenkins will collaborate across teams to develop and execute strategies that promote the creation, financing, and preservation of safe and affordable housing that also makes a positive impact on local communities. Prior to coming into this newly created role at Greystone, Ms. Jenkins spent nearly 15 years at Freddie Mac where she held a variety of leadership positions, most recently serving as head of the GSE’s Multifamily platform.

Pretium has announced that Jonathan Pruzan has joined the firm as president and a member of the executive committee, effective immediately. In this newly created role, Pruzan will oversee many of Pretium’s strategic and operational initiatives. He spent the last 28 years with Morgan Stanley, serving in a variety of leadership positions, including chief operating officer, chief financial officer, and head of corporate strategy. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Pruzan was also head of the Global Financial Institutions Group. Pruzan earned a bachelor of arts in political science and economics from Tufts University.

PCV Murcor has announced the hiring of Marc Tatarcuk to serve as vice president of national sales. Tatarcuk, with over 20 years in the real estate and financial services industries, will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the company’s national sales efforts across all market verticals.

QC Ally has added Jeffrey B. Flory as its new CEO. He bringing more than 30 years of experience to his new role, including positions at Interthinx, First American, The Compliance Group and Baker Tilly US.
